An acquisition and an anniversary
Kings III Acquires Florida-Based Competitor
Texas-headquartered Kings III Emergency Communications announced in August it is acquiring Florida-based competitor ESRM. By November 1, ESRM headquarters and day-to-day operations will transition to Kings III’s Dallas-area offices. One of the owners of ESRM, Tom Worthington, is being added to the Kings III management team, and all ESRM employees have been offered positions as Kings III “works to secure a seamless client transition with no disruption in services.” Kings III CEO Dennis Mason said that with healthy metrics in the elevator phone monitoring market and a successful dealer program, ESRM is a good fit. Kings III observed ESRM “has a strong retention rate that marries nicely with Kings III’s own 98% customer retention.”
